Welcome to the Ranch!

Olivewood Ranch is a 5-acre ranch located in Porterville, California  just  below Sequoia National Park in the mighty San Joaquin Valley the agriculture and dairy capital of the world.

My Mission

At Olivewood Ranch, all Nigerian Dwarfs are disbudded (dehorned) for safety and all Goats and Miniature Zebu's are health guaranteed . We also offer a height guarantee on all livestock bred and raised here. Olivewood Ranch Nigerian Dwarf Goats are double-registered under AGS (American Goat Society) and NDGA (Nigerian Dwarf Goat Association) under a breeding program that emphasizes small, correct Nigerian Dwarfs with good mammary systems. Our Miniature Zebu breeding program emphasis's on height, breed character and correct body structure. We also have an aggressive herd health maintenance program, where preventative care is the emphasis.

A Little about Me

My name is Don Hamman and I have the great honor to have been the father of Emilee Hamman the wonderful young lady that the Emilee Hamman Memorial show that has been named after that NDGA so proudly presents at their National show each year is named after.

Emilee

Emilee is the person responsible for me being involved  in the livestock business as a hobby and Her memories are in every animal that I raise.

I was also on the Board of Directors of the NDGA from 1997 to 2007.
